I'm really glad that I can be a part of this day (thank you Sew Mama Sew!) and that you visited my blog!
If you are here for the first time I prepared mosaic with some of my works (just to say Hi:):
1. Something to try beige, 2. My very own lap quilt, 3. Pouf close up, 4. Christmas truck - '12 days of Christmas' Sampler QAL., 5. Block for Bearpawandbearpaw, 6. Pillow or... [FtLoS swap], 7. Pillow for a friend, 8. Memory Board quilt top, 9. In the mood for lime, 10. Julianna, The BOOKKEEPER, 11. My new tea breaks sunshine, 12. Christmas swap with my friend
And now for the most important part of the day:
what can you win?
This novelty bundle:
These fabrics comes from different lines, some from Alex Henry Fashionista collection, but you'll find also some other funky fabrics.
Total of 5 yards (most are half yards, some FQ's, AH Fashionista are almost all half yards since the prints are bigger scale):
How to enter?
1. Leave a comment telling me what funky gift could get quilter as a Christmas gift?
(my husband asks me about this every day, so I hope that your ideas give me some hint:)
2. Leave second comment if you are follower of my blog (old or new:).
This is not obligatory part of the giveaway!
If you're no-reply blogger (or don't have a blog), please add your e-mail in a comment.
Giveaway is open till December 16, 2011.
Mr. Random.org will choose a winner on December 17, 2011.
Giveaway is open internationally:)
Thank you for visiting my blog!!!
And... good luck and have fun with all Sew Mama Sew Giveaways:)
- Pan Random.org zadecyduje:)
You could get a really cool seam ripper, or a new long arm sewing machine (in my dreams).
OdpowiedzUsuńI follow your blog and would love some hints from you for our trip to Poland next summer!
OdpowiedzUsuńHmmm... funky gifts for quilters. Maybe a basket full of quilting supplies like pins, scissors, quilting hoop, etc.
OdpowiedzUsuńFor any quilter, I would be tempted to get this for them: http://shopping.yahoo.com/781281083-june-tailor-organizer-quilter-project-planner/
OdpowiedzUsuńI have not tried it with any of my quilts and have always been curious how it would impact it. :P
Already a follower of yours ^^
OdpowiedzUsuńHmm… funky gifts for quilters. Some sort of really nice set of boxes or large envelopes with fun designs for works in progress? That would top my list right now. Or maybe a collection of permanent fabric pens in all sorts of colors for labeling.
OdpowiedzUsuńAlso, I follow you. Your projects are really inspiring!
OdpowiedzUsuńCiężka sprawa z tym prezentem. Podejrzewam, że wiekszość potrzebnych rzeczy masz. Ja bym obstawiała to : http://www.sharedthreads.com/ :)))(taki skromny prezencik hi hi ).
P.S. Twój mąż mnie chyba zabije, bo nie mam zielonego pojęcia gdzie dostanie taki wynalazek :)
I oczywiscie jestem obserwatorem :))
OdpowiedzUsuńa i oglądam i podglądam od dawna :)
OdpowiedzUsuńJa marzę o ramie do pikowania.
I'm a follower, thank you so much!
Giną igły i szpilki! Mnie bardzo tanio można usatysfakcjonować ;)))
OdpowiedzUsuńI jeszcze okulary - do obserwowania koleżanek quilterek ;)))
OdpowiedzUsuńTo me, the easiest is a gift card to a store of my choice, but that is kind of boring. Maybe send him a list of your top 5 favorite bloggers/projects that have fun stuff you would be interested in, and let him take the initiative from there?
OdpowiedzUsuńPerhaps a really good quilting book? Like the one from Sarah Fielke "Quilting from little things". Love your mosaik, thanks for the inspiration!
OdpowiedzUsuńI am already a happy follower!
OdpowiedzUsuńa side-winder maybe...?
OdpowiedzUsuń:)
Unusual fabric that you would never pick yourself
OdpowiedzUsuńHow about some templates to inspire some new designs? I really would only love fabric mind you. And a thimble.
OdpowiedzUsuńYou could give a quilter a few hours of babysitting time if they had kids so they could quilt peacefully!
to raz.
for a quilter, perhaps a gift certificate to spoonflower
OdpowiedzUsuńI think a spoonflower gift certificate would be perfect!
OdpowiedzUsuńDesiree

I have a friend getting a quilting tattoo...?
OdpowiedzUsuńHope this helps, and thanks for the chance to participate!
P.S. Are those scrap containers above your sewing table up there? VERY cool!
some quit time to quilt? or some fun rulers and templates!
OdpowiedzUsuńFunky? Probably hand-dyed threads or something like that. :)
OdpowiedzUsuńNot sure about funky, but I would venture to say awesome fabric is always the way to go. sneakfuzz at hotmail dot com
OdpowiedzUsuńHow about a gift of a quilters retreat/workshop?
OdpowiedzUsuńA book about vintage quilts? nancebagance at yahoo dot ca
OdpowiedzUsuńIs a plaque for the sewing room with a funny saying a funky gift?
OdpowiedzUsuńI'm a follower!
OdpowiedzUsuńfor the quilter that has everything... fabric! imported? new rotary cutting blades....
OdpowiedzUsuńThere is nothing better than fabric. Beautiful, cordinating fabric. Best Christmas present ever!!! Great giveaway! Hope I win! My e-mail is african.joy at hotmail dot com
OdpowiedzUsuńCzasu, więcej czasu, bo zawsze go mało ;D

OdpowiedzUsuńFunky gift...I'd say go to an art gallery and find something awesome!
OdpowiedzUsuńI'm a follower! By the way...LOVE the "Noel" truck with the Xmas tree and presents that you sewed!
OdpowiedzUsuńA fun ironing board cover. Since you have to spend so much time there, it might as well be fun to look at!
OdpowiedzUsuńGet a Purple Thang (yes that is the real name) - I got one last month and I LOVE it!
OdpowiedzUsuńI am a new follower :)
OdpowiedzUsuńFunky gifts ... hmmm ... a fun pin cusion, or an extra large ironing board ... or how about a gift certificate for a class at your favourite quilt shop? (Or a bottle of wine? I read one blogger that swears by a glass of wine to help with free motion quilting - but I'm not that brave!)
OdpowiedzUsuńSarah
hmmmmm....funky? Not sure....but maybe a special cutting ruler?
OdpowiedzUsuńThanks for a great giveaway!
If I were you I would ask for a box full of the new SULKY 60 wt. PolyLite Thread. Apparently it flows like butter and has a good range of colors. I received a sample the other day and I must say I was impressed.
OdpowiedzUsuńHappy Holidays!
One of the women who was doing giveaways has a hubby that does hand-tooled items on a lathe. How about a funky painted seam-ripper? Thanks for the chance to win!
OdpowiedzUsuńYou can't go wrong with the designer fabric. Though, not sure if that qualifies as funky. :)
OdpowiedzUsuńbecker(dot)olga(at)gmail(dot)com

OdpowiedzUsuńTwo years ago my husband got me shelves for christmas! best thing ever for my studio!!

OdpowiedzUsuńThanks for a wonderful giveaway!
what about cool quilting design books?
OdpowiedzUsuńNot sure how funky it is, but I'm always happy to get fabric. I also think a Kona color card would be a nice gift. It's something I want, but never want to spend the money on.
OdpowiedzUsuńI would say some English paper piecing templates that are plastic and reusable.
OdpowiedzUsuńI agree, a Kona color card would be an awesome Christmas gift for a quilter! I put it on my Christmas list that I gave to my husband this year.
OdpowiedzUsuńThe best gift my husband could give me is if he would enjoy my quilting, and help me by cutting my fabrics for me!!
OdpowiedzUsuńI have been a follower for awhile. I was first drawn to your blog because it is in Polish. I am very proud to be of Polish heritage. My familii names are Maciejewski, Ludwiczak, Pietrczak. Of course, I continue to follow because I love al things quilty!

rubberduckywon@gmail.com
I've seen a lot of cute necklaces lately that have sewing machines or scissors. A charm bracelet with crafty charms would be good too. Also animal pincushions like hedgehogs or chickens, or a fancy owl measuring tape. Decals for putting on sewing machines are fun too. Flat-head pins with cute shapes & colors, or a thread-catcher pincushion.
OdpowiedzUsuńKeds has some of the cutest quilt printed sneakers!
OdpowiedzUsuńI'm a follower!
OdpowiedzUsuńFunky: tackle boxes! They're great for organizing sewing tools. And how about an old library card catalog, for organizing scraps? :)
OdpowiedzUsuńI'm not a quilter, but I'm sure a quilter would enjoy this gift as much as I have. My husband gave me the Singer Bias Tape maker and the cutter for Christmas about three years ago. LOVE.
Prezent - wycieczka w plener, żeby znaleźć nowe pomysły do nowych prac :)
OdpowiedzUsuńgoska0123@wp.pl

OdpowiedzUsuńI follow you on bloglovin :)
OdpowiedzUsuńI would love an Accuquilt die cut machine with all the dies!!!
OdpowiedzUsuńHej, jesli o mnie chodzi to błabym wniebowzięta jesli mąż skombinował mi jakiś mały kącik w domu, gdzie mogłabym schować materiały i wszystkie narzędzia do szycia i haftu. Jak dotąd wszystko to plata sie to tu to tam :).

OdpowiedzUsuńA go baby would be great or lots of charm packs
OdpowiedzUsuńJestem obserwatorką więc komentarz nr 1 :)
OdpowiedzUsuńI think Fabric as a gift, or a new sewing machine or a camera to photograph all these gorgeous projects.
OdpowiedzUsuńA rotary cutter, you can never have too many.
OdpowiedzUsuńI love gingher scissors, they're great and come in all sorts of funky designs!

fabric cutting machine
OdpowiedzUsuńLovely fabrics! a funky gift? I'd love a light that attaches/sits next to my my machine. Or a lap desk.
OdpowiedzUsuńbatting? seems like that would be something nice to have on hand when you get inspired? Or a nice light.
OdpowiedzUsuńI think one of the new fabric cutting machines would make a fun gift, or a bias-tape machine. Great fabrics! Thanks for the great giveaway!
OdpowiedzUsuńHmm, I recently saw a seam ripper that had a light on the end -- I think that would be fun to have!!!
OdpowiedzUsuńThere's al kind of cool jewelry. I like the necklaces with the small scissors. I've seen sewing machines too
OdpowiedzUsuńI'd say a funky new sewing box organizer!
OdpowiedzUsuńA collection of threads- I only buy them for a specific project and I'd love to have more options at home.
OdpowiedzUsuńInkodyes -- available at dharma. They're super-cool. Thanks!
OdpowiedzUsuńA box of fun thread colors, and in my case (unfortunately), a first aid kit since I just had a minor rotary cutter accident! Yikes!
OdpowiedzUsuńA great gift for me would be to spend a few hours with someone like you who is great at paper piecing and could teach me a thing or two. Failing that then I would like a beautiful glass fronted cabinet to keep my fabric stash in while having it still on show.
OdpowiedzUsuńWish I could read Polish to see what some of those 'funky' ideas are... oh well... I would think that a really neat gift would be wild coloured fabrics and designs. Thanks for the chance!
OdpowiedzUsuńI am a long time follower!! yay!
OdpowiedzUsuńOf course I follow (your blog and flickr), through google reader though
OdpowiedzUsuńfabric! Especially easy would be pre-cuts samplers!
OdpowiedzUsuńA gift certificate to sewing store!!
OdpowiedzUsuńThanks!
Tia
mtrand2 at gmail dot com
I think a grab bag full of fabrics from the Fat Quarter shop or perhaps some scrap bundles from various Etsy sellers would make a wonderful and fun gift for a quilter! So much fun to get a bundle of surprise fabrics and then see how they inspire you!
OdpowiedzUsuńThanks for the chance to win your giveaway!
Something you couldn't justify buying yourself, or possibly some books or patterns. Gift card to let you run wild at the store, or maybe something unrelated like a massage/spa coupon.
OdpowiedzUsuńA new quilt book, fancy thread (metallic, multicolor, etc.), a thread rack or organizer, new cutting templates, rotary cutter blade refills, pretty pins, super sharp scissors, new sewing machine needles, a pretty sewing machine cover or ironing board cover...I like practical gifts. :)
OdpowiedzUsuńMy hubby bought me a beautiful ornamental golden clock for my sewing room it is about 3 inches high and I put it over my machine so I can see the time and guess what it says on the face..it is so small I am sure my husband didn't see it "FOCUS" Which is the very thing I struggle most with when it comes to piecing. I love that little clock for it's quiet little chastisement and encouragement and timekeeping reminder..we have to use our sewing time well or it disappears far too quickly!
OdpowiedzUsuńA funky gift for a quilter would be some fabric that they would NEVER think to buy for themselves - they might learn to love it and expand their horizons.
OdpowiedzUsuńthanks!
Thanks for the chance to win!
OdpowiedzUsuńlovely things you have made!
Best gifts for quilters, I tell you:
Jelly rolls, layer cakes, charm packs and so on *lol*
liebe Grüße
Bente - Germany

OdpowiedzUsuńmichaelacking (at) gmail (d0t) com
Your things are beautiful! I think quilters can always use another sharp scissors...
OdpowiedzUsuńA cute pair of scissors
OdpowiedzUsuńTons of scraps and a book of ideas for sewing with scraps. That's the best I can think up. Thanks!
OdpowiedzUsuńI saw the coolest pair of scissors. I couldn't find them anywhere. They stood up when you put them down so they didn't get lost under fabric and patterns. Someone's husband found them for her through Stanley Tools. If anyone knows what I am talking about and where to buy let me know.

OdpowiedzUsuńHmmm..tough question. I am a quilter and i'm not sure. Maybe a Fiskars rotating cutting mat
OdpowiedzUsuńFunky? Maybe a crazy handmade wrist-pincushion. It would have to be something crazy like a voodoo doll or pin-up girl. Something ironic and goofy. It must exist on Etsy.

I am a huge Alexander Henry fan so this giveaway makes me very happy. Why don't you ask for EQ7!!! That is what I want. Thanks for your generosity.
OdpowiedzUsuńSome funky fabric! With a crazy seam ripper. Thanks for the chance.
OdpowiedzUsuńHow about a fabric bundle of the month membership? I've had my eye on a few.. :)
OdpowiedzUsuńI think a seam ripper with a light attached would be great. And add a loop on the end so it can be tied around my neck with pretty string so as to never be misplaced.
OdpowiedzUsuńIn one of the other giveaways I saw this cool tool. I think it was called the Kwik Klip tool. It helps you pin your quilt layers together.
OdpowiedzUsuńHow about some Aurifil thread??
OdpowiedzUsuńHow about one of those gorgeous sterling thimbles? I'd love one of those.

OdpowiedzUsuńFunky gift, how about possibly funky but totally functional. I suggest a Silhouette. You can't get any more creative than playing with that!
OdpowiedzUsuńI'm a Follower - amazing bundle of fabric.
OdpowiedzUsuńI know a woman whose husband made her a HUGE ironing board. She puts it on the bed and can iron half a quilt top at a time. Merry Christmas!
