Blossom

[ten post powinien zostać opublikowany w kwietniu 2018 roku, ale jakoś o nim zapomniałam... Chyba trzeba winić Instagram;)]

Od zawsze chciałam uszyć radosny quilt z moich ulubionych kolekcji Sandi Henderson (Ginger Blossom, Farmers Market i Meadowsweet). W przeszłości nawet zaczęłam nie jeden, a od razu dwa, ale oczywiście nie skończyłam (TUTAJ).

Wiedziałam, że quilt ma być kolorowy, z elementami fussy-cut, ale prosty. I wydaje mi się, że tym razem podążam w dobrym kierunku!

Mam sentyment do jednego ze wzorów z kolekcji Ginger Blossom, gdyż był on jednym z 8 wzorów, które jako pierwsze pojawiły się w moim sklepie z tkaninami. Nic dziwnego więc, że szycie bloków rozpoczęłam od sięgnięcia po niego.

I always wanted to make a happy quilt from my favourite Sandi Henderson's lines (Ginger Blossom, Farmers Market and Meadowsweet). In the past I even started not one, but even too, unfortunately I didn't finish it (HERE). 

I knew it have to be fussy-cut, colorful, but simple. And I think I'm heading into the right direction!

I have a special feelings to one of the prints from Ginger Blossom collection as it was one of 8 of my first bolts to my quilt shop... So no surprises that I started piecing the blocks with this print.
