/ Chwilę po uszyciu pierwszego projektu dla magazynu Love Patchwork&Quilting, uszyłam kolejny. Tak jak kasetowe poduszki, i ten projekt jest powtórką mojej wcześniejszej pracy (a nawet dwóch: mini-quiltu i narzuty na łóżko). Oto moja poduszka do 12 edycji:
I heard that Jenny and other LP&Q creative folks have come up with some awesome idea to show my pillow in the magazine, but I didn't expect that it will be so beyond amazing! Just look at it:
/ Słyszałam, że Jenny i spółka wymyślili fajną stylizację by pokazać moją poduchę, ale nie spodziewałam się, że będzie ona tak niezwykła - tylko spójrzcie:
When I was working on the brief of this project with Jenny, I come up with an idea to mix coral, mint and mustard. Coral&mint colorway is very hot right now, especially in home decor, but I wasn't 100% sure if adding mustard will be good idea. I took a photo of my fabric pull and Jenny loved it, so I felt more comfortable. A day or two later, I realized that in the past I actually used very similar colorway. Back in 2011 I made a little block to check out if I like beige on quilts (HERE's a photo of it) and then a pillow for FQ Challenge (HERE). I used three colors (or I wanted to use, because some fabrics are not in the exact color I wanted to use): salmon, mustard and something between blue and turquoise. So as you can see, sometimes replacing some colors by colors that are currently in fashion, can bring some fantastic results! (I replaced salmon with coral and turquoise with mint).
Issue 12 goes on sale very soon - on the 20th August! And here's the cover with my pillow cover inside (I spy my pillow on the cover - yay!):
